MOROBÉ MANIFESTO — Our third edition of MOROBÉ Manifesto has arrived. This issue captures the mood of our latest campaign, photographed by Marie Wynants, alongside our High Summer campaign.
At the heart of this edition is MOROBÉ Match, a series of conversations with three distinctive personalities: Elvis Pompilio, Elodie Ouedraogo and June Van Thillo. Each shares a personal perspective on style, creativity and the choices that shape their world.
MOROBÉ Manifesto Edition III is now available at our stores.
VIRGINIE MOROBÉ - Manifesting
The first half of 2025 was all about manifesting. For me, this was a completely new mental discipline, as I am naturally more of a “doer.” My mindset has always been: if you want something, you make it happen. After an intense search for a location store in Saint-Tropez, we finally found the spot. Saint-Tropez is a very small town, and locations are extremely scarce. As a result, multiple international brands were competing for that one available space on Rue Gambetta. And that’s when my manifesting era truly began.
My intuition was telling me that MOROBÉ was going to open a store in Saint-Tropez. I felt it in every bone of my body. So I started acting accordingly. Even though nothing was signed yet, we commissioned our architect, Glenn Sestig, to begin designing what would later become the MOROBÉ Riviera Residence. I started curating the selection of styles I wanted to present in our very first international store. What do you show first to a completely new audience? That question guided every decision.
Production orders were placed, factories got to work, and David spent weeks navigating contracts and French law. But through it all, we were truly convinced that everything would fall into place as it was meant to. We were ready to take the next step, even while living with the uncertainty of which brand would ultimately be selected for the space. And then, after a few weeks, we got the call. They chose us, this small, independent Belgian brand. The space was ours. The Riviera Residence was becoming a reality. We had eight weeks to build a luxurious store that fully reflected our brand aesthetics. Eight weeks of focus, intensity, and hard work, with both highs and lows. On June 26, our Riviera Residence opened its doors. I will never forget how we felt the night before the opening, standing on the sidewalk, looking at the illuminated façade. It all felt almost unreal. We had manifested it. We believed in ourselves and in the strength of MOROBÉ as a brand. And while our brand continues to grow, so does our ability to manifest. We’re getting quite good at it, because dreaming big is simply what we do.
